THANK YOU 2015

Good Morning Friend and Happy Last day of year 2015.  With much Joy in my heart I don't just know how to coin those words together and not bore you because 2015 was worth it with you all. I looked through year 2015 from January to December and I decided to cull out some quotes and words that are noteworthy and could be better used in 2016.  QUOTES: 1. Its one thing to see the day and another thing to seize it. 2. Conflict is not your greatest barrier, Complacency is. 3. If you can't REJOICE then RE-joy's.

WHAT ARE YOU MARRIED TO?

CL Blogs. Marriage; of all the definitions of word-web dictionary, I will be going with this particular definition of it. Marriage- A close and intimate union.  and Union defined; The state of making/ becoming one single unit, being joined, linked or united. Isaiah 4:1- And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach. Has this scripture struck anything in your heart dear friend? With a heavy heart I came to the discovery of the fact that marriage is not only about the union between a man and a woman alone.

ACKNOWLEDGE HIS GRACE!

After the gloriously honoured Choir of RCCG House of Glory ushered this little me into the pulpit, I could feel the presence of the Lord so strong that I had to tell the wonderful congregation to acknowledge His Grace! That is what i want to share with you today. If you sincerely took all through your life, you will see that it was all  by His grace. Most of us if not all of us didn't plan 2015 the way it went, but even in the dimension it went through you will all acknowledge that of a truth the Lord was with you. If not for the Lord on your side, what will you be saying by now?

WISE MEN STILL SEEK HIM

With series of things to write and share with you on my mind today, I had to succumb to the grace of the day. I saw the need to write  on a topic that is affiliated to the birth of Christ. Some of my friends out there asked some questions all through yesterday, is December 25 really the birth date of Jesus Christ?  The whole story about Christmas spelt as X-Mas and all. ...

IMPOSSIBILITY?

Impossibility: Incapability of existing or occurring.(Word-web dictionary) Luke  1:37- For with God nothing shall be impossible. Impossible? Why did the scripture not say 'with God everything shall be  possible'? This is because God has a relationship with impossibility, and the relationship is making something out of nothing and possibility out of impossibility! I want you to know the bible doesn't talk about the unimportant, if the scripture is using the word 'impossible' i can bet you its important!

SEIZE THE DAY

Good morning friends, I am writing on the topic ' seize the day' because i almost would not have written a topic at all today due to some constraints that came up from not seizing the day. Then I realised it is one thing to see the day and another thing to seize the day!  If i had failed to write this up still, then I just 'saw' the day. Thanks to God for the grace to 'seize' the day.

MAKE THE MOST OF Y-O-U-R LIFE.

"For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away" - James 4:14. Yesterday I discussed with you 5 things you can do with the problems of your life and i trust you have done justice to them. I want to believe you have faced your problems and now your life is a problem-free one. Now that you have resolved the problem, you have your life to you and you alone. It's therefore high time you make the most of Y-O-U-R life now. I used the acronym Y-O-U-R because they will be pointing to four of the  things needed to make the most out of life.

PROBLEMS AND THINGS TO DO WITH THEM

Word-web dictionary defines problems as a state of difficulty that needs to be resolved. If I'll be going by the definition of my dictionary; a state of difficulty that needs to be resolved, then the topic at hand calls for a question. Friends can you scan through you life and see a list of difficulties, struggles and pains that need to be resolved and not dissolved. All i am saying is those problems are to be brought to an end not discarded or avoided. It's a Monday morning and I'm talking about problems again? Yes! We all associate Mondays for work and business activities, then they can be used for problems resolving too! I can predict some saying I have not got problems, just challenges, today well discuss shortly about it so you know problems are not challenges, problems are real and we've all got them!

DONT GO TO HELL OVER A MYSTERY.

Good morning friends. 'Don't go to hell over a mystery' , isn't this itself mysterious? I think the phrase we might find confounding but some words of course familiar. Hell- its a place everyone of us knows, heard about and we talk about as we understand it, a place no one want's to end up lest its not believed to exist. I know some of my friends out there will say why is he talking abut hell this morning? I have searched through pages of the scripture and even scriptures written by some Generals of God and I have come to realise that 'submission to Gods rule and living in accordance with his moral law(expressed concisely in the ten commandments is a response to grace- Its never something which can earn Gods acceptance(legalism)' .

FINDING YOUR WAY THROUGH THE CROWD

The topic before us today; finding your way through the crowd and not to the crowd. What is a crowd? Word web defines it in two ways;  1. A large row of things or people considered together 2. An informal body of friends. From the definition above, a crowd can be a large number of things e.g disappointments, lack, poverty etc or people i.e friends, family, foes and even principalities and powers........ I bet you don't want to hear the last two. What i am trying to say is a crowd is definitely overwhelming or overpowering. I mean something more than you. It's definitely an unpleasant phase you need to move out from. How do I find my way through?

HOW TO LIVE YOUR PAST

Before i go fully into the topic before me... I'll like to start with this piece of quote as usual: "Past when not properly managed/lived pulls the future in part". For  a clearer view of today's topic, i will be using a story in the scripture with references to each verses as i am led.

WHAT DO I DO WITH THE PAST?

DON'T JUST LEAVE THE PAST, LIVE THE PAST TOO!! Today's sub-topic is sounding like a quote right? It is not just sounding.. it is a quote. It is what we discussing. 2 Corinthians 5:17 King James Version (KJV) 17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. What really becomes new?

THE PAST!

Still on the series: The New Life Now!! 2 Corinthians 5:17 King James Version (KJV) 17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new . "If any man", the word any man here is stressing the fact that God is not interested in who the man is. Not your personality but your past! "Be in Christ": Attitude in the context of this and not Position! You left something or a place to be in Christ. That's what He cares about, Your attitude towards the past. The past is passed away but are they truly passed away or just packed away for a while?

THE NOW OF YOUR LIFE

How do you spend your Life, How do you spend your Now? God will never bless you with what you have lost, He will bless you with what you have left said T.D Jakes. There is a projection into the future that only you can do Now , the Now is so important that you have to discover that "You are more than Now". Just like its rightly said 'when the purpose of a thing is not known, an abuse is inevitable'.        Remember these:  Now is the Time. "You see it to seize it Now" and You are a Heir to what you Hear - Tobi Oshunbiyi. A series of the Now of your Life is to be explored, but for the purpose of introduction I'll leave you with this friends: Watch and Pray! Never do anything Now you can't give thanks for before starting. Even Jesus prayed and thanked the Father before breaking the bread (His Body). Have a blessed day.
