PIVOT TEXT: I Chronicles 12:32. OTHER TEXT: Psalms 90:12, Ecclesiastes 3:1

Let’s note that in this writing the words wisdom, knowledge and understanding will be used concurrently and should be perceived as the same

      Eccl 3:1

To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven (KJV)

      Hosea 4:6A

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you [the priestly nation] have rejected knowledge (AMP)

1 Chronicle 12:32
And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment. (KJV) also read from NLT

The saying ‘A fool at 40 is a fool forever’ I’m sure has brought many people who are close to 40 or 40 a great shiver. Some will ask themselves (I hope am not a fool? Have I been living my life my life in accordance to God’s purpose? Etc.)
For children of God we should know that God wants us to be wise all through our lives, which is why He (God) wants us (you and I) to realize the fact that we need wisdom per time and season of our lives.
(Read. Ecclesiastes 3:1)

From our pivot scripture (1 Chronicles 12:32) talking about the tribe of Issachar with their very little number in David’s great Army, it was no surprise that their expertise was greatly needed, not just the Force but a nation couldn’t run without them –Why? Because they understood the times and they knew (have knowledge or understanding) of what Israel should do (Paraphrasing 1Chronicles 12:32).

How great these men are knowing the right or precise time of birth, death, planting, harvest, to mention a few their mind and heart know what to be done without thinking, Struggling or researching about it.

What a great privilege we have in Christ Jesus who through God we enjoy such a Grace our hearts can’t comprehend and with him we can exercise even a greater understanding than them (Men of Issachar)
*Read Psalms 90:12

Psalms 90:12 KJV

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom (So that we may grow in wisdom. NLT).
It is God’s mind that we(believers) increase(grow) in wisdom per season of our lives also growing in the knowledge of him (2 Peter 1:3, Ephesians 1:17) that is the burden God has placed in my heart and am sure that is what God wants for you too.
I don’t have to be 40 or above to realize I need God’s wisdom but although my life here on earth for folly is not for the Children of God but the children of Devil. Am also believing that this is what God wants for you too my friend (Proverb 4:7)
2 Peter 1:3 NKJV

3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,

Ephesians 1:17 NKJV

17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,

Proverbs 4:7 KJV
Wisdom is the principal thing; [therefore] get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Hosea 4:6 KJV
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge

*Read Hosea 4:6
The wisdom you need is with your father in heaven, which is the differentiating factor between you and an unbeliever. For an unbeliever their wisdom is sourced from the Devil.
In case you want God’s wisdom and you are not born again, the only requirement you need is to give your life to Jesus, he accepts you and supply you with wisdom.
To wrap it up (Isaiah 33:6); the fear of God is key to accessing the treasure of his wisdom Psalms 111:10; the fear of the LORD is  the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do (his commandment): his praise endureth forever. (KJV) and Proverbs 9:10; the fear of the LORD (is) the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy (is) understanding. KJV
Isa 33:6 KJV

And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.

I pray that Isaiah 11:2 may be reality in my life and your life, God bless you and many more years in the fullness of God’s wisdom for me in Jesus name.
Isa 11:2 KJV

And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD
