WHAT IS MY MINISTRY?

Ephesians 4:11-16King James Version (KJV)

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

 I Timothy 4:14 (NIV)

Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you.

2 Timothy 1:6-7New King James Version (NKJV)

Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
Note that Ministry gifts are imparted by the laying of hands and not by some oil. The only time oils are needed are when you are sick!! (James 5:14, Mark 6:13). You might want to ask, but Aaron was anointed with oil (Exodus 30:30, 40:13 ). The reason was to consecrate them.
Exodus 30:31 "You shall speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'This shall be a holy anointing oil to Me throughout your generations.
Their generations! See that?
Leviticus 8:12 Then he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head and anointed him, to consecrate him.
You are consecrated by His blood(You need not anymore oil). You will notice in Leviticus 8:30 - Moses made use of not just oil alone., he made use of some blood on the altar also.
Take note of this:
1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.

The anointing is never the oil and is never in the oil.

Acts 10:38 "You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

THE FIVE FOLD MINISTRY

1.Apostle - Governs
2. Prophet - Guides
3. Evangelist - Gathers
4. Pastor - Guards
5. Teacher - Grounds
The Church NOW and Today needs the full function and operation of the full fivefold in accordance with the WORD. May We identify and encourage those whom God has given the grace and anointing for such.

THE FIVE FOLD MINISTRY

The Apostle - Leads
The Prophet - Speaks
The Teacher - Equips
The Evangelist - Proclaims
The Pastor - Cares
We need all for our time like never before; divinely called, appointed and anointed fivefold Ministers.

THE FIVE FOLD MINISTRY

1. Apostle - Visionary Strategist
2. Prophet - Spiritual Advisor
3. Teacher - Logical Thinker/Implementer
4. Evangelist - Persuasive Communicator
5. Pastor - Human Resource Counselor
The Gifts and ministry of the Holy Spirit work in manifold ways and is not limited to a one approach. The Bible talks about the seven spirits yet refers to one and the same Spirit manifesting His completeness in different ways.
Some are open to revelation but not learning or teaching. The humble is open to learning, education and revelation.

THE FIVE FOLD MINISTRY

Apostle - Long-Sight
Prophet - Foresight
Evangelist - Hindsight
Teacher - Insight
Pastor - Oversight
VISION means to SEE. All those in the fivefold ministry must have a vision or see something in the area of their ministries. Spiritual sight is the ability to see by revelation what needs to be done when and how. We all need vision to do His work effectively.

THE FIVE FOLD MINISTRY

Apostle - Mission
Prophet - Vision
Evangelist - Commission
Pastor - Compassion
Teacher - Passion
We need a sense of Mission and Commission. We need a sense of vision and passion with Compassion to do effectively the task before us.

Hope this helps?

THE 7 DISPENSATIONS IN THE BIBLE

Dispensationalism is a method of interpreting history that divides God’s work and purposes toward mankind into different periods of time. Usually, there are seven dispensations identified, although some theologians believe there are nine. Others count as few as three or as many as thirty-seven dispensations.  In this article, we will limit ourselves to the seven basic dispensations found in scripture.

DID JOHN THE BAPTIST REALLY EAT INSECTS(LOCUST)?

His name was divinely given. It was to be “John” ( Luke 1:13 ), which derives from a Hebrew term signifying “Jehovah is gracious.” He was known familiarly as “ the Baptist ” (bearing no relation to the modern sect), which simply means “an immerser , one who administers the rite of immersion” ( Matthew. 3:1; 11:11; .. ). The Jewish historian Josephus even refers to John by this designation (Antiquities 18.5.2). The importance of John in the divine scheme of things probably is summed up best in the testimony of Jesus himself. “ Among them that are born of women there has not arisen a greater than John the Baptist ” ( Matthew 11:11 ). Luke does say of John: “ And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his showing unto Israel ” ( Luke 1:80 ).  This desert (or deserted) area “stretches from Jerusalem and Bethlehem eastward some 20 miles down to the Jordan River and th e Dead Sea.” It is “a barren region of rugged hills and valleys” (Earle, 30

SPRITUAL GIFTS

In Christianity, a spiritual gift or charism (plural: charisms or charismata ; in Greek singular: χάρισμα charisma , plural: χαρίσματα charismata ) is an endowment which is given by the Holy Spirit. These are the supernatural graces which individual Christians need (or needed in the days of the Apostles) to fulfill the mission of the Church. In the narrowest sense, it is a theological term for the extraordinary graces given to individual Christians for the good of others.
