The School of Service

I-Serve is a 6-Month mentorship and training Programme that kicks off SEPTEMBER annually in response to our mandate received to raise successful Kingdom Emissaries in all spheres of Influence for Societal and National Transformation.

Mark 10:45

KJV 45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.NIV 45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
The School of Service is a programme organized by Covenant of Life, and it is fondly called I-Serve.

Our assignment is to dymystify ministry so that Kingdom Emissaries sent into other spheres other than religion can see and know it is their sphere of Ministry and not an enemy of their call and thus receive their ministry.

We are in a very unique time of our lives and a kairos moment where heavens is on a mission to raise ambassadors; Individuals it will use to fulfill an end-time agenda of God in the market place as Emissaries.

I-Serve is the platform of Covenant of Life that caters for the development and deployment of these emissaries.

WHY ATTEND THE SCHOOL OF SERVICE?
The school of service seeks to do four things:

REQUIREMENTS

There are four values you have to consider before you sign-up for The School of Service;

Teachability; You must be a man firstly under the authority of God. The first value you must have is your relationship with God. We reign in life on account of our connection to God. Having a relationship with God is not just being a Christian nor a religious criteria, it is a lifeline for being valuable in life.

Availability; A transformed mind ready to receive transformation. To be valuable in our days, you must reorient your mind. Thus you must be ready for a paradigm shift to unlearn, learn and re-learn.

Graces; You must have identified your advantage. A gift, talent, ability or skill?
Our world has no reward for mediocrity. The minimum standard is excellence hence, you must benchmark your destiny by global standards. Spirituality is not a license to live a life of mediocrity. This helps strive for a level of value that is not localized but global!

Emotional Quotient; A balanced emotional quotient allows for healthy relationship. You must be ready to build quality and destiny changing relationships. Everything in life multiplies on the basis of relationship.

THE 7 DISPENSATIONS IN THE BIBLE

Dispensationalism is a method of interpreting history that divides God’s work and purposes toward mankind into different periods of time. Usually, there are seven dispensations identified, although some theologians believe there are nine. Others count as few as three or as many as thirty-seven dispensations.

In this article, we will limit ourselves to the seven basic dispensations found in scripture.

Lets move on;
The Apostle Paul speaks of the variety of spiritual gifts: “Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. . . . But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will” (I Corinthians 12:4–11).

THE MYSTERY OF HIS PRESENCE

Have you ever wondered why God will not honour the words of certain men and honour that of another?
Have you ever thought about something  like this or experienced this:
The Bible says .....You shall lay your hands upon the sick and they will recover(Mark 16:18b). You laid your hands and instead of a recovery, you found a discovery – that the man is not healed and the sickness/disease has back-fired. This can be painful......  until a young man comes and at the sound of his voice, the infirmity flees.
Has this ever bothered you?
Or that a man speaks into existence instantly what you have been begging God for with fasting and prayers.

I bring you a mystery today!

KAIROS: THE MYSTERY OF TIME

At the very beginning of Jesus’ earthly ministry  Jesus tells of a great opportunity: God’s kingdom is within our reach. To enter the kingdom, however, we must go through a process of REPENTANCE and BELIEF.

Mark 1:14‭-‬15 KJV‬‬: Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,  And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Through this process we learn how:
-To lay down our lives
-Pick up the cross
-Follow Jesus into the kingdom

These three highlights aren’t steps but a circle that represents our Journey into the kingdom of God and time: the kairos moments in our lives which is the portal through which we enter into Kingdom living.

What is a Kairos Moment?
A portal (access) through which we enter into dimensions of results. It is a moment and moments defines time just like seasons define destiny.
Eg: Jesus’ death on the cross was not a last-ditch effort on God’s  part …

SPRITUAL GIFTS

In Christianity, a spiritual gift or charism (plural: charisms or charismata; in Greek singular: χάρισμαcharisma, plural: χαρίσματαcharismata) is an endowment which is given by the Holy Spirit. These are the supernatural graces which individual Christians need (or needed in the days of the Apostles) to fulfill the mission of the Church.
In the narrowest sense, it is a theological term for the extraordinary graces given to individual Christians for the good of others.
